Central Valley Electric was established in 1990 in Ceres, California. Its founder, Troy Wells Jr., had worked in the electric industry since 1985, and saw the need for a quality industrial electrical contractor to service the burgeoning food and beverage industry in Stanislaus County and beyond.

He immediately began developing the relationships and setting the groundwork that would allow the company to grow and prosper.

In 1995 the company had the good fortune to add Craig Dyas as a partner and with two good steady hands at the helm the company continued to grow.

CVE headquarters moved from Ceres to Modesto in 2009 and relocated to its present location in 2012. The company currently employs approximately 60 people between management, staff and electricians.

Central Valley Electric, Inc. is signatory to the local IBEW collective bargaining agreement. CVE is committed to bringing a project in on time and on budget, and works diligently to make that happen.
